So What Do I Look for When Purchasing Eyewear?

Warranties
Are the frames and lenses warranted?
If so, for how long? Does the warranty cost extra, or is
it included in the price of the eyewear?
You will never be asked to pay for a warranty or service agreement.
All of our frames have a two year warranty against manufacturing defects, and lenses have up to a two year warranty.* Many of our kid's frames have an unconditional warranty.
We always adjust and make minor
repairs on our frames at no additional charge.
Two year warranty on all frames If for any reason (except loss, theft, or extreme abuse)* you need your frame repaired or replaced, we will do it at no charge for two years from the date of purchase.
Two year warranty on lenses If you scratch your lenses, we will remake your lenses one time in the two year period from
the date of purchase at no charge to you (limited to the same prescription)*.
Up to a two year warranty on specialty coatings The warranty on our anti-reflective coatings varies by manufacturer from one
to two years. Your lenses will be replaced one time in either a one year or two year period
from the date of purchase at no charge to you.
* Excludes Value Line frame and lenses, and discontinued frames

Trained Opticians
Certain prescriptions require certain frame styles and lens treatments for your glasses to perform well and look great. Only trained opticians can guide you through this. Is the person assisting you qualified to do this?
Our optical staff is certified by the American Optometric Association and pursuing further certicfication from the American Board of Opticianry. These certifications require initial testing, then attaining continuing education hours on an ongoing basis. Our staff regularly attends training courses not only to maintain their certifications, but make sure they have the must up-to-date knowledge about the vision care products we offer.
